Maximize Your LEGO Savings with Rewards Programs – HUGE APRIL 1 NEWS

Looking to save a few of your hard-earned bucks while supporting your LEGO hobby? I know I am… but finding the best deals and discounts can be time-consuming and often isn’t worth the hassle. So I’ve put together this basic guide with some useful links, tips, and tricks to minimize the hurt to your wallet while maximizing your LEGO collection.

Many avid LEGO collectors, including me, prefer to buy sets on the official LEGO.com website. The LEGO Insider Program is a great way to earn rewards back on your LEGO purchases; each item purchased through their site earns a solid 5% back in the form of LEGO Insiders Rewards points, which can be used toward future purchases.

One of the downsides of purchasing directly from LEGO is the lack of options in the sales/discounts section (Buggy the Clown Brickheadz has been a staple of the LEGO Sale catalog for like 4 months…), but bundling your LEGO Insiders Rewards points with an online cash back site can help you create your own “discount” on virtually any set you want to purchase.

Several cash back / rewards sites are available and offer discounts on LEGO.com, ranging from 1% cash back to much higher amounts (keep reading!). I typically go back and forth between Capital One Shopping and Rakuten, both of which have solid cash back deals on LEGO.com purchases. I’ll write another article on this, but the reason I give slight preference to Rakuten is due to their method of reward disbursement — every quarter, I get a physical check in the mail for the cash rewards I’ve earned… Capital One Shopping limits your “cash back” earnings to gift card redemption.

This brings me to a big announcement… This Wednesday, April 1 2026, Rakuten is offering a stellar 16% cash back on non-exclusive LEGO sets purchased on LEGO.com. To sign up for Rakuten and learn more about the upcoming promo, consider using my link (we both get $50 once you sign up and use it Rakuten to make a purchase): http://www.rakuten.com/r/GARRET10723

If you want to maximize your savings on Rakuten, you can also sign up for their credit card and earn an additional 4% cash back on any purchase made through Rakuten’s app or website. All-in-all, this is the best way to save money on LEGO purchases.

That said, you can find stellar deals outside of LEGO.com. Most major LEGO retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Target…) have a solid lineup of discounted sets. Here are a few current offers that I like:

Amazon LEGO discounts: https://amzn.to/41C7XAy

Some great discounts on LEGO Star Wars sets on Amazon right now include

The LEGO Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter: https://amzn.to/47yqdhX

LEGO TIE Bomber: https://amzn.to/4cf8tKW

LEGO Millenium Falcon 25th Anniversary Set: https://amzn.to/4tfXarw

LEGO Dark Falcon: https://amzn.to/4cgL77K

If you purchase any of these sets with your Amazon Prime Chase credit card, you can earn an additional 5%-8% in cash back on your purchase (depending on shipping options).

I’ll post some additional sales from other retailers in other posts… but for now, gear up for Wednesday’s big Rakuten cash back promotion, and earn all the LEGO Insiders points you can to gear up for upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets and any May 4th promos that may be on the horizon!
